Our last edition of Document was 2021. The festival has been missed by many especially in these challenging times that we face now on a global level. Document has been undergoing many conversations and structural changes. I have some good news, the hiatus has come to an end. We have an amazing collective of grassroots people, some new and some returning who have been a huge part of Document over the years. As a collective we felt very frustrated that in Glasgow we did not have a festival which like Document in the past screened and respected the works of film makers who go to the edge to show us what is really happening – the wait is over – Document is back !
